Baroway to Speak at LAAIA and CPCU Society Chapter Meeting

The CPCU Society announced that Cindy Baroway, CPCU, M.Ed., AIC, president of the CPCU Society Leadership Council, will speak at a Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies(LAAIA) and CPCU Society South Florida Chapter joint meeting on Feb. 5 in Miami.

Baroway will present to more than 100 association and chapter members about lessons learned during her 23-year career in the insurance industry and about the importance of earning the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation, the industry’s premier designation.

Conferred by The Institutes, the CPCU designation is awarded to professionals who successfully complete courses and examinations on risk management principles, insurance policy contracts, and coverage analysis. Earning the designation offers opportunities for professional development, improved job performance, and career advancement.

The meeting’s networking reception will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by Baroway’s presentation and dinner, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
