Offerpop, a New York-based social marketing software-as-a-service company with offices in London and San Francisco, more than doubled revenue in 2013 as the company added global brands and enterprises like Banana Republic, Whole Foods, ESPN and Neiman Marcus.

Highlights in 2013

  •     Delivered record-breaking revenue growth, more than doubling 2012’s performance
  •     Surpassed milestone of over 300,000 campaigns created through the Offerpop platform and handled nearly half a billion consumer interactions
  •     Accelerated product innovation with new capabilities in digital promotions, social commerce, and hashtag marketing, including campaigns that cross multiple social networks and digital platforms
  •     Enabled marketers to collect valuable data and insights from Offerpop campaigns, with advances in social profiles, user-generated content libraries, and integrations with enterprise CRM and email systems
  •     More than doubled the number of employees, including senior, executive positions. Gail Ennis, the former CMO of Omniture and the current CEO of Karmasphere, joined the Offerpop board of directors in December.

Innovation and Product Development
2013 was a year of social marketing innovation and product development for Offerpop. In November 2013, Offerpop released Hashtag Gallery, a marketing solution that allows brands to launch, track and aggregate user-generated content submitted through hashtags on multiple social networks. Hashtag Gallery empowers brands to tap into the entire social media market with a single campaign and tie social campaigns to traditional advertising efforts.

The company also launched video contest products for Vine and Instagram. In 2013 Offerpop developed Inspiration for Pinterest, a product that empowers brands to crowd-source Pinterest content from followers. Inspiration was launched in January 2014.

Offerpop empowers marketers to engage with consumers throughout the customer lifecycle, from branding and awareness to conversion and loyalty. The platform now offers 20 different social and mobile marketing products covering social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and Pinterest.

Reach, Globalization and Partnerships
Offerpop’s 2013 customer growth came from both inside and outside of the United States. The company opened its international offices in London in October and added large international accounts like Waitrose, Renault, Virgin Active and Malaysia Airlines. The company’s platform has now expanded its international presence to 100 countries and is supported in 18 different languages.

Offerpop also announced partnerships with leading social marketing software companies in 2013. The company developed integrations with CheetahMail and ExactTarget, augmenting its ability to work with numerous marketing software systems that handle email marketing, advertising solutions and social data campaigns.
