"We will continue to grow Regency's legacy of manufacturing high quality products and we look forward to expanding their ‘business-to-business’ commerce."

ExceptionalSheets.com, headquartered in Evansville, IN, is pleased to announce their recent acquisition of The Regency Pad Co.’s manufacturing assets, building and land in Martin, TN.  Regency Pad Co. manufactures various mattress pads and toppers used by many of North America’s finest hotels.  In addition to continuing the production of luxury mattress pads, ExceptionalSheets.com will be working with the staff in Martin and Evansville to add new and innovative products to the company's collections.

"Offering our customers and vendors unparalleled levels of products and service at an appropriate price are the foundations of our company ethos.  Regency’s reputation for making bedding of the highest quality provided an excellent opportunity for our Evansville-based business to vertically integrate with a company that had become one of our largest suppliers," said Paul Saunders, Owner and Co-Founder of ExceptionalSheets.com. "We will continue to grow Regency's legacy of manufacturing high quality products and we look forward to expanding their ‘business-to-business’ commerce.  In fact, two of our most recent orders for mattress pads were placed by the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, Florida and the Courtyard by Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee."

With this acquisition, Saunders is adding 30 new employees, a 45,000-square-foot production facility and two state-of-the-art manufacturing lines. Regency’s trademarked Bamboo Mattress Pad and Extra Plush Mattress Pad have quickly become two of ExceptionalSheets.com's top-selling items and Saunders is pleased to be bringing Regency’s operational capabilities under his umbrella of businesses.
"Our most immediate objective is to better learn Regency’s business and industry while working to conduct a thorough manufacturing process review and costing analysis," says Saunders. He does not anticipate any immediate changes to Regency’s manufacturing operations or business model. General Manager Dan Chadwick has been retained by Exceptionalsheets.com based on plans to keep production in Martin, TN.
