Mission X to Manage the 6th Annual Warrior Competition
(PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Mission X was selected by the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center, KASOTC, to plan and implement the prestigious 6th Annual Warrior Competition, held in Amman, Jordan on April 30 – May 5, 2014. KASOTC expects approximately 35 teams, from Jordan, and all corners of the world, to attend this years’ Competition.
Elite special forces and police units, will converge at KASOTC, which is the most advanced reality-based training facility in the world, for special operations forces, counter terrorism units, and law enforcement. Teams participating in the Warrior Competition will: compete in a series of extreme combat-oriented events, test new equipment and technology, engage in best practices, network with international SOF and CT members, and build esprit de corps.
"This year, and in close coordination with KASOTC, and their support and expertise, Mission X will include new and challenging scenarios designed to push the teams to their physical, mental, and tactical limits," said Mission X CEO Harry Taylor. The Competition will also see the participation and support of Mission X’s wounded warriors - former special operations soldiers - to help manage and score the various events. The participation of the wounded warriors is a testament to their fortitude, and ability to adapt and overcome life-changing injuries.
Many of Mission X’s team members were former KASOTC instructors, and original architects, of the globally recognized Warrior Competition. Mission X has also developed a large focus on the film and TV industry. Its team has collectively worked and collaborated on more than 100 movies, documentaries and TV shows by: providing technical and artistic military/police advice, immersive training for actors, and stunt coordination capabilities.
