“Charles Carter’s political knowledge and experience will enhance our ability to empower our customers to make strategic, data-driven decisions that will help them win elections,” said Link2Tek CEO Juliana Lam. “We are proud to welcome Charles to the team, and eager to leverage his expertise on behalf of new and existing clients.”

After teaching for several years in Buncombe County public schools, Carter served in the North Carolina Senate from 1998 to 2002. Following his service in the legislature, he owned and operated a coffee/café chain and coffee roasting company for more than 10 years. He sold his business in 2012 and now works as a political and technology consultant. He has remained active politically and recently chaired the Buncombe County Democratic Party.

“Data and analytics can be powerful political tools if a campaign thoughtfully uses them to inform messaging, effective resource management, and strategic decision-making,” Carter said. “Link2Tek has a proven record of enhancing campaign effectiveness, and I am excited about the opportunity to enhance the value these technologies can bring to political communications.”

The Link2Tek political solution provides a direct contact resource that enables campaigns to strategically target voters and transmit issue-relevant messaging with pinpoint precision. By combining data and communication resources in a single platform, a campaign can apply the intelligence derived from data to better guide decisions, messaging and spending.
