TAG BI/A Society Reveals Annual Innovation Awards Winners
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 28, 2014 -- The Technology Association of Georgia in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI/A) Society of TAG, has recognized the Winners for the 2013 BI/A Innovation Awards.
“This year we had over 20 nominations representing a broad base of innovative companies in Georgia. Many of these organizations are combining internal and external data to predict potential outcomes and shift their strategy to drive new sources of revenue. The face of BI is changing rapidly,” says Greg Boyd, TAG BI/A Society Co-Chair.
The annual event recognizes leaders in the Enterprise and SMB spaces for their development and application of BI, Business Analytics, Big Data, Predictive Analytics and more. This year’s winners include:
Mid Size Enterprise
Georgia Southern University: Mobile Advancement Affiliate Search Project
a. This effort created a mobile application that could be used on any platform that allowed development officers in the field to use an aggregated data set that included ERP constituent data, Wealth screening data, and geo-spatial data enabling them to perform complex searches while maximizing their time and efficiency.
b. Thanks to the deployment of this project, donations are up 38% over the previous year and development officer efficiency has improved by 17%.
Manheim: Customer Analytics Project
a. The customer analytics project provides a consolidated view of key customer data. This is done through analysis of customer transactions combined with data from external sources to uncover customer segments, identify insights, and discover hidden trends.
b. Wins for this project include more effective product launch campaigns and the ability to leverage a personalized recommendation engine for customers.
