Verndale is pleased to announce that three of its team members have been recognized as Sitecore Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) for 2014. This brings Verndale’s MVP total to five, including one of just three Digital Strategist MVPs in all of North America. Named this year are Sean Rusinko (Strategy), Sean Connell (Technology) and Trevor Campbell (Technology). Sitecore MVP awards are presented to Sitecore experts who serve as exceptional community leaders and are catalysts for change and innovation in the way technology drives personalized customer engagement.

Sitecore’s MVP program recognizes individual digital strategy and technology advocates who share their passion and expertise to offer positive customer experiences that drive business results. The Sitecore Digital Strategist MVP Award recognizes individuals with strong experience in executing data driven marketing solutions and proven success in using Sitecore’s experience platform to deliver exceptional business outcomes for customers. Sean Rusinko, SVP Strategy at Verndale, joins the first class of Digital Strategist MVPs. This elite group has only three members in North America. Sean is widely known for his work with helping Verndale clients supercharge their online marketing with the Sitecore Digital Marketing System (DMS). He has led more than a dozen transformative DMS projects with enterprise clients in a wide range of industries. In addition, Sean has been trained in the Sitecore Business Optimization curriculum and frequently speaks and writes about marketing strategy, personalization and Sitecore DMS.
Sean Connell is Verndale’s CTO and a long-time Sitecore MVP. Sean has contributed to the Sitecore community through his blog posts on Sitecore and web content management system topics. At Verndale, Sean serves as a mentor to the Sitecore development team and has crafted several innovative tools and processes ensuring the success of high-profile Sitecore implementations.
Trevor Campbell is a Technology Lead at Verndale where he has recently taken on the role of growing the company’s technical center in Raleigh, NC. In February 2013, Trevor displayed both a deep knowledge of Sitecore tools and a singular commitment to the community with a month long blogging project called “28 Days of Sitecore Rocks” which focused on the Sitecore tool integration with Microsoft Visual Studio, Sitecore Rocks.
Verndale has more than 40 certified Sitecore developers and has completed over 125 Sitecore projects since becoming one of the first North American partners in 2006.
