New website offers legal advice to sufferers of tinnitus
(PRWEB UK) 29 January 2014 -- A new website launched by industrial disease solicitors Mercury Legal Online will offer legal and practical advice for sufferers of tinnitus and noise-induced hearing loss.
The website, http://www.ringing-inears.co.uk, has been specifically designed to help people who suffer with tinnitus and hearing loss that can be traced back to a time working in a noisy environment, with little or no hearing protection. The site advises on the causes of tinnitus, the legal options available to the victim and the varying symptoms that may be experienced.
The website launches a week before Tinnitus Awareness Week; an initiative by the British Tinnitus Association. The event will run from 3rd-9th February 2014 and aims to bring tinnitus to the attention of thousands across the UK, in the hope of encouraging sufferers to talk about the condition and highlighting the help available. Gavin Moat, Director of Mercury Legal Online, said of the website launch: “We wanted to create a website dedicated to providing specific information to sufferers of tinnitus and noise-induced hearing loss to inform them of their options.
“The thought process behind the website was that it will act as a key resource for people affected by tinnitus, allowing them to find all the information they need, when they need it.
“We hope that it will inform victims of the legal issues surrounding tinnitus and noise-induced hearing loss and ensure that those who are affected are aware of their legal position right from the start.”
