Established in 1992 at the University of Akron, the Fisher Institute for Professional Selling is one of the oldest Sales Programs in the world, and is a full member of the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA). As a new Premiere Corporate Partner of the Fisher Institute, MRI Software will provide feedback into the current sales curriculum, act as a workplace mentor to Akron sales students, and recruit the best and brightest after graduation.

As part of the partnership, MRI has made a substantial monetary commitment to the Fisher Institute, a significant portion of which will go toward the renovation of the institute’s one-of-a-kind Sales Skills Practice Laboratory. The complex contains six skill practice rooms equipped with video recording equipment, enabling individuals to review their performances and improve their selling and overall communication skills. It was constructed specifically to aid in the process of developing students for successful careers in professional selling.
