Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 31, 2014
Dacor®, manufacturer of ultra-premium kitchen appliances will unveil the world’s first smart cooking appliances with a wirelessly-connected tablet at the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Kitchen and Bath Industry Show 2014 in Las Vegas February 4th through the 6th. KBIS is the largest U.S. event devoted to kitchen and bath products and industry trade professionals.
“With our new Discovery iQ appliances, we are utilizing smart technology to empower the passionate cook,” states Dacor President Steve Joseph. “The new appliances combine the cooking precision our customers have enjoyed for nearly 50 years with a first-of-its-kind Dacor iQ Cooking App and Dacor iQ Controller, providing a convenient, connected cooking experience.”
At the show, Dacor will provide a sneak peek of its award-winning Discovery™ iQ 48” Dual-Fuel Range—the world’s first range to feature an integrated, wirelessly-connected tablet. The range incorporates the proprietary Dacor iQ Controller, a sleek new control panel for today’s sophisticated chef. The range also features the Dacor iQ Cooking Application that empowers users with all the tools they need for precision cooking. With the release of the new Dacor Remote iQ Cooking Application, homes chefs can now control the range via their smart phone or tablet, from anywhere they are connected.
Dacor will also showcase some of its other revolutionary kitchen appliances including:
- Discovery™ iQ 30” Wall Oven: The world’s first wall oven to feature an integrated, wirelessly-connected tablet.
- Renaissance® 36” Induction Cooktop: The new cooktop outperforms traditional gas and electric options in both speed and energy efficiency. Dacor’s exclusive SenseTech™ induction technology detects the exact size of cookware and manages the transfer of energy to match, thereby utilizing a full 90 percent of the heat generated.
- Award-winning Discovery WineStation®: A four-bottle, commercial-grade wine dispenser and preservation system that keeps the wine exactly as the vintner intended for up to 60 days after opening.
This year marks the first year that KBIS will co-locate with the International Builders’ Show (IBS), resulting in Design & Construction Week™. Design & Construction Week is one of the world’s largest gatherings in residential design and construction hosting more than 1,500 exhibitors and 70,000 expected industry professionals and media attending.
Dacor’s KBIS booth number is N2375, and it will be located within the Las Vegas Convention Center.
