Mirepoix USA’s Valentine’s Day weekend special event will be held at Chez Louie, the recently opened French-inspired restaurant and concessionaire at the Nevada Museum of Art. Tickets are available through February 1, 2014, for $95 per person, an almost 25% discount. After February 1, tickets are $125 per person.

The five-courrse black truffle and foie gras menu includes two seafood courses, Sea Scallop Stuffed with Black Truffle served on a bed of Truffled Creamed Leeks and Chilean Sea Bass with Black Truffle Butter, Sweet Potato Puree and Yukon Gold Potato, both served with Montgravet Cotes Du Gascogne Blanc. The next course, Foie gras Terrine Layered with Black Truffles and Mixed Greens with Black Truffle Vinaigrette, will be served with Delas Cotes Du Rhone "St. Esprit" Rouge. The last savory course, Mini Tournedos Rossini made with Mishima Ranch Wagyu Filet, seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Madera Veal Stock Reduction, and Shaved Black Truffles will be served with Chateau Bonnet Bordeaux Rouge. The dessert will be Black Truffle and Foie Gras Ice Cream with Brown Lace Tuile. The courses will be appetizer-size, served on small plates to seated guests.
