Seattle, WA (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 -- For the third consecutive year, WSECU is the presenting sponsor of the show. This year’s venue will expand within the event center to accommodate hundreds of all types of recreational vehicles and daily presentations, including “Ask the Technician,” “The Essential RV Walk-Through," the RV Doctor himself, Gary Bunzer, plus many other entertaining and informative seminars. The largest gathering of dealers and exhibitors in years will be participating, displaying all of the latest RV models and accessories.
As an added bonus, a manufactured home will be on display. They’re a great option for vacation property and provide carefree retirement housing, allowing adventurers to spend more time in their RV.
This year, Rex Goliath Wines is sponsoring free parking and shuttle service at the Safeco Field garage for those who purchase their tickets online at TheSeattleRVShow.com.
One dollar from every non-discounted adult and senior ticket sold at the box office will be donated to Washington State Parks; and this year, sponsor WSECU will match the donation, dollar for dollar.
According to the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), shipments for all RV types are up 12% over this time last year – and motor home shipments are up 32% in part to the surge in popularity with families that have young children. RVs are made by American companies employing American workers located in America, more than 80% are made in Indiana.
The mission of The Seattle RV Show is to promote the RV lifestyle, “Creating Lifetime Memories,” with families and friends. The last couple of years, the local RV demand has made an exceptional comeback. Enthusiasm is back and so are sales. “The RV lifestyle is something that gets in your blood,” says Dave Helgeson, MHRV Show Director. “People love the freedom it gives to explore our country. Many have been holding back the past few years but we’re seeing a big turnaround and we feel the momentum will be stronger than ever in 2014!”
