“I would love to watch the Seattle Seahawks on my own tv at home but I want someone else to cook my Wild Seafood, mix the drinks and pour the wine.” That’s what owner Duke Moscrip said when asked why he was open for business on Super Bowl Sunday.

Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) January 31, 2014

“I would love to watch the Seattle Seahawks on my own TV at home but I want someone else to cook my Wild Seafood, mix the drinks and pour the wine.” That’s what owner of Duke's Chowder House, Duke Moscrip, said when he was asked why he was open for business for the "Big Game" Sunday; normally a dead day for restaurants with parties galore at personal residences.

Moscrip added that restaurants all around them are closed for the day. Five of Duke's Chowder Houses (Duke's Alki is closed for a private party) are featuring happy hour pricing all through the game with drink specials for every touchdown scored.

Not wanting a sports bar environment with loud, boisterous behavior, Duke’s is offering a more peaceful solution to the guest looking for a bit more sophistication while watching the game with the sound turned on while eating wild sustainable seafood and award-winning clam chowder.

Duke’s Chowder House has recently earned a 4.5 grade (Blue Fish rating) out of 5 by Fish2Fork, a leading evaluator of seafood restaurants. This is the highest seafood restaurant rating in the State of Washington.
