Preston Hyundai feels the 2014 Hyundai Equus is the number one choice when looking for a luxury sedan. They love the Hyundai Equus so much that they have created an excellent inventory of it. Ever since the Equus was introduced, Preston Hyundai was impressed with the vehicle and all of the great features that it offers. It has won many awards to back Preston Hyundai’s feelings about it. In 2011 the Equus was a IIHS top safety pick. Also in that year, the Equus won J.D. Powers appeal award. The following year, in 2012, the Equus was again named a top safety pick by IIHS. This year for 2014 CNET gave the 2014 Hyundai Equus ultimate high marks for its high tech features.
One of Preston Hyundai’s favorite features is the heads-up display. The heads-up display shows color graphics, which are projected low on the windshield in front of the driver. It shows the vehicle’s speed, turn-by-turn directions, and alerts for blind spot monitoring. When another vehicle approaches on the left or right of the Equus the icon lights up on the display mirror and on the heads-up display. The HUD also shows cruise control information. The most crucial information displays on the Heads-up Display. This means safety and control are maximized. Preston Hyundai loves technology that changes the driving experience. Luckily the 2014 Hyundai Equus does just that.
Another feature loved by everyone in Preston Hyundai is the Smart Cruise Control with stop/start functionality. Smart Cruise Control detects vehicles within a driver-specified distance and automatically maintains a consistent following distance. The system operates like the normal cruise control while there are no other vehicles around. The radar judges the distance and speed of vehicles in front of the Equus. When a vehicle gets too close, then the vehicle automatically brakes. When the vehicle needs to accelerate then it will do that as well. With the stop/start functionality, if the vehicle in front comes to a complete stop, then the Equus will automatically come to a full stop. If the vehicle ahead of the Equus starts moving then the Equus will automatically start moving forward.
The Equus also has a great feature which allows the driver to see all angles of the vehicle. It has a multi view camera system which includes four cameras that provide a 360-degree view around the entire vehicle. One camera offers a forward view, this camera is mounted on the front grille. Two cameras are incorporated into the side mirrors and there is one rearview camera. When the multi-view camera system is on the driver can see an aerial view of the Equus. The system can be controlled to offer front, rear, and side camera views as the driver pleases. All camera views are displayed on the central in-dash navigation screen at lower parking speeds then switches back to the navigation mode at higher driving speeds.
These are just a few of the key features that Preston Hyundai loves about the 2014 Hyundai Equus. “The Equus offers so many great features we can’t even begin to touch on them all,” says Preston Hyundai’s General Manager Mary Jane Haney.
