New York, NY (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- Bruno Mars is known as one of the most electric performing artists in the music business today and always appears to be going a million miles a minute, especially on stage. The Hawaiian-born performer broke out in a major way in 2010 with “Just the Way You Are,” a single that sold more than six million copies in the United States alone, and the accolades have continued to come. The 28-year-old recently announced the second leg of the “Moonshine Jungle Tour,” which will showcase the Grammy Award winner at 40 different venues. Joining Mars for the ride include Aloe Blacc and the hit maker, Pharrell Williams.

Mars is currently taking a break from his second headlining tour, but will head back home to Hawaii for the final two dates of the first leg of tour, before hitting the road again at the end of May. The second portion of the tour will kick off at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA and is currently set to conclude with a show at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, CO (Denver metro area). In between, the tour will make stops at several of the most prestigious venues around the continent including the TD Garden in Boston, MA, Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City, Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, ON, Canada and the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
On five of the 40 new dates of the “Moonshine Jungle Tour,” fans will be given the chance to hear one of the best in the business when Pharrell Williams joins Mars. Those that were unfamiliar with Williams before this past week’s Grammy Awards now know him as the man who wore the insane hats and a man who took part in some of the biggest hits of 2013. Williams will join Mars in five cities, including the stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
When Williams isn’t taking the road with Mars, Blacc will be the opening act. Blacc’s biggest claim to fame at this time is being the vocal part of Avicii’s monster hit, “Wake Me Up.” Playing in front of packed arenas around the continent will open Blacc’s musical abilities up to a new group of fans, which will only help the 35-year-old increase his popularity. Being a part of a song like “Wake Me Up,” which reached the No. 1 spot on singles charts in more than 20 countries is a great way to break into the business.
In 2013, Mediabase called Mars the most played artist on pop radio and his singles like “Grenade” and “Locked out of Heaven” have been massive hits in the past several years. “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade” have been his best-selling singles, each selling more than 10 million copies around the world. At last week’s Grammy Awards, Mars won his second career Grammy, winning in the “Best Pop Vocal Album,” for Unorthodox Jukebox, his December 2012 release.
