Shoals Technologies Group Signs Framework Agreement for New Asia/Pacific Operations and Manufacturing Headquarters
Beijing, TN (PRWEB) February 01, 2014 -- Shoals Technologies Group, a global leader in photovoltaic components, formally signed an agreement for the investment and establishment of a new Asia/Pacific operations and manufacturing headquarters.
The facility, located in the newly established Jiaxing PV High-Tech Industrial park, will allow Shoals to manufacture a broad line of industry leading balance of systems components for the rapidly expanding domestic Chinese market.
Jiaxing PV Hi-tech Industrial Park is located at Xiuzhou New Area, with a total area of 14.2 square kilometers, and was officially listed in December 2012 to develop a “five-in-one” innovation trial for the provincial photovoltaic industry. The five pillars of the trial are an industrial base construction trial, an industrial technology innovation trial, an applied commercial mode innovation trial, a regional smart grid innovation trial with distributed energy access policy and lastly a system innovation trial.

The signing was held during the Jiaxing PV Industry Devlopment (Beijing) Co-Operation Symposium held in Beijing, and was overseen by Deputy Director of the National Energy Board Energy Secretary, Liang Zhipeng and chaired by Mayor Xiang Sheng.
