Vancouver, Coast & Mountains Tourism Region is pleased to announce the launch of their redesigned website – 604pulse.com. The new site marks a significant change to the region’s on-line presence and will provide quick, easy access for potential visitors, and locals, to information about things to see and do in the Vancouver, Coast & Mountains region of British Columbia, Canada.
The new site design will appeal to both travellers and industry professionals while encouraging shareability across social media platforms. Stunning photography and a colourful, modern design create a charismatic and engaging feel that will inspire readers. The new interactive website invites visitors to use an “Inspiration Tool” to plan their perfect trip. Criteria such as laidback versus energetic, kid friendly versus adult oriented and city versus nature escapes will result in a customized itinerary; one that immediately showcases a tailored itinerary full of activities found in the VCM region.

One of the major changes to the site includes transitioning from a simple blog to VCM’s official travel guide website and blog. In the travel guide website portion, potential visitors in the key markets of BC, WA and AB can stay up to date on events, new attractions or activities, and hidden secrets. The blog portion of the site covers everything from travel ideas and event information to favourite things to see and do in the region, while the new 604pulse website acts as the place to go for personalized itineraries and regional information. The website also becomes the primary call to action in all of VCM’s marketing campaigns, including the annual Travel Experience Guides.
The website – 604pulse.com – was designed by the award winning Vancouver advertising agency Spring Advertising and is powered by simpleview CRM, a customer relationship manager created specifically for the travel and tourism industries.
