SES brings secure messaging capabilities to Net Health users, and supported Net Health’s successful Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification, serving as relied-upon software to transmit, receive and incorporate transitions of care.

Net Health, the leader in software solutions for outpatient specialty care, has partnered with Secure Exchange Solutions (SES) to bring secure messaging capabilities to its large user base. With the SES Connect software, SES supported Net Health’s successful Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification, serving as relied-upon software to transmit, receive and incorporate transitions of care.

Net Health products support $1 billion of health care services each year in the fields of wound care, urgent care, occupational medicine, employee health, and workplace medicine support. Using SES Connect, Net Health can enable its full user base of more than 1,800 facilities and more than 30,000 healthcare professionals to securely exchange healthcare information within and outside of the Net Health network. The addition of secure messaging to the Net Health offering adds a valuable tool for improving patient care by allowing a rapid flow of information between the specialists served by Net Health and the referring physicians and hospitals with whom they need to exchange information.

“Secure Exchange Solutions allows us to offer our users a complete solution for the secure exchange of healthcare information, meeting and exceeding the requirements of Meaningful Use Stage 2 and helping our users to improve practice efficiency and care quality,” said Christopher Hayes, CTO of Net Health.

“Net Health users include the majority of wound care providers in the United States,” said Dan Kazzaz, CEO of Secure Exchange Solutions. “By choosing to incorporate our standards-based messaging solution, Net Health has brought a new specialty into the rapidly growing community of providers who are able to communicate directly with one another and with their patients. Linking the patient, primary care provider, specialist and hospital bolsters patient care by ensuring that the full care team has all the relevant information at their fingertips.”

Net Health was tested and certified for Meaningful Use Stage 2 under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program.
