ABCO Subsea, a Houston-based custom manufacturer of products for the offshore industry, has hired Jay Nylund as its new engineering manager and Abe Quijada as the company’s new sales manager.

Nylund comes to ABCO Subsea from Enventure Global Technologies, where he was manager of the application engineering department. He previously worked as a design engineer at Cameron and a reliability engineer at Lockheed Martin.

Quijada comes to ABCO Subsea from Konecranes, where he was sales director. He previously worked in sales and business development for Mueller, Lamson and Sessions and Hancor.

Founded in 1981, ABCO Subsea is a custom manufacturer of clamps, shuttle valves and bend limiters to the offshore energy industry. The company has more than 50 full-time employees based out of its 35,000-square foot headquarters in Northwest Houston.
