Storm Drops 10-14 Inches in Mammoth Lakes
Mammoth Lakes, California (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- A storm that hit Mammoth Lakes on Jan. 30 dropped 10-14 inches of fresh snow on Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, leaving visitors and locals with huge powder grins.
Following a long dry spell, the stormy weather and great new snow has quickly brought winter back to the Eastern Sierra. Skiers and boarders were hitting the slopes bright and early on Jan. 31, and comments about the great new conditions filled the lift lines.
With nine new trails open, including the face of Chair Five and the Avy Chutes, plus more expected to open this weekend, there's no better place to be than Mammoth Lakes right now.
