Shea Homes in Charlotte Hosts Real Estate Agent Luncheon, Gives Away Lexus GS

Shea Homes of Charlotte hosted a luncheon for local Real Estate agents, including all agents who sold a Shea Home in 2013. The highlight of the event was the grand prize giveaway of a 2-year lease on a Lexus GS.

On January 28, 2014, Charlotte-area real estate agents braved the cold and impending wintry weather to attend the Shea Homes annual real estate agent luncheon. All agents who sold a Shea home in 2013 were invited, plus additional agents from the area. The highlight of the catered event was the grand-prize giveaway of a 2-year lease of a Lexus GS; all agents who sold a Shea home in 2013, were a Star Alliance member, and attended the event were eligible to win the car.

The event was held at the Hollister neighborhood clubhouse, a Shea Homes community in the Weddington/Wesley Chapel area of Union County. Around 75 people were in attendance. When John Shea, Jr. pulled the grand prize winner’s name, it was of no surprise to Shea Homes that Kranthi Aella of Dane Warren Real Estate was the winner. Kranthi sold an impressive 17 Shea Homes during 2013, as part of the Shea Star Alliance Real Estate Agent program.

Michele Scott, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, commented, “Our luncheon was a great success! There was great excitement surrounding our drawing for the 2 year lease on the Lexus GS. It is always fun to talk and mingle with our area real estate agents. They do so much to support our business.”

Other prizes given away at the luncheon included an i-Pad mini, five $200 VISA gift cards courtesy of Bank of North Carolina, and Shea “CARE” packages which included tumblers, pens, and gift certificates for car washes. Winners of these items included local agents Allen Dargins, Ellen Colitti, Suzanne Phythian, Cheryl Ollis, Mark Watson, Anupam Patel, Beth Rountree, Laurie Zdyb, Consuelo Sounders, Marie Wellman, Gene Filer, Sherri Green, Debbie Kempter and Darn Markham. The catered lunch was provided by Best Impressions of Charlotte.
