Timmons Group's Ben Snyder Achieves Wetland Professional in Training Certification

The Wetland Professional in Training (WPIT) certification is considered a preliminary step for becoming a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), which requires a combination of wetland-related coursework and five years of professional experience as a wetland scientist.

Timmons Group is proud to announce that Ben Snyder, EIT has earned his Wetland Professional in Training (WPIT) certification from the Society of Wetland Scientists. This certification is considered a preliminary step for becoming a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), which requires a combination of wetland-related coursework and five years of professional experience as a wetland scientist.

Ben has been with Timmons Group for two years and has worked to support Timmons Group’s Mitigation Services Practice. His project experience includes the Varina Stream Mitigation Bank, Magnolia Green Residential Community, and multiple mitigation development projects throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He also has his Engineer in Training certificate and is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Biological Systems Engineering.
