Hunter Wilson Joins Wilmington Trust as Managing Director and Senior Private Client Advisor for Family Wealth
Wilmington, Delaware (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 -- Wilmington Trust has hired Hunter Wilson as a managing director and senior private client advisor for its Wealth Advisory division. He will be primarily responsible for introducing affluent clients nationally to Wilmington Trust’s integrated family wealth services. He is based in the firm’s North Palm Beach, Fla. office.
“We are very pleased to have someone with Hunter’s experience and background join Wilmington Trust’s Family Wealth team,” said Kemp C. Stickney, Wilmington Trust’s chief fiduciary officer and head of Family Wealth.
Wilson is also a member of Stickney’s national leadership team.
Before joining Wilmington Trust, Wilson was a senior partner at GenSpring Family Offices, as well as serving as chairman of GenSpring in Florida. He was with GenSpring for more than 18 years. Previously, he was employed as a director with Ocwen Financial Cooperation in West Palm Beach, Deloitte & Touche as a senior manager in Miami, and Rinker Materials Corp. in West Palm Beach as director of auditing.
Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is active in various wealth management forums such as the Family Office Exchange, the Institute for Private Investors, and the Family Wealth Alliance. Additionally, he has served as an ambassador for the past seven years for the Honda Classic, the PGA Tour golf tournament held every spring in Florida, which raises funds to support children’s health care organizations in South Florida.
