ActionPacked Networks, developer and distributor of the award-winning enterprise network management software called LiveAction™, today announced it is rebranding its company name to LiveAction™ and spinning-out from Referentia Systems, Inc. To support this effort, the company unveiled a new logo, website, and product promotion.
Founded in 2007 as a Referentia Systems, Inc. company, ActionPacked Networks focused on helping the U.S. Department of Defense manage and simplify its network. Over time, the company discovered that the commercial marketplace also benefitted from LiveAction application-aware, network performance management and Quality of Service (QoS) features. Network administrators in both private and public sector environments could quickly and easily take control of their networks.
“Today we are proudly announcing our spin-out from Referentia System, Inc. and changing our name from ActionPacked Networks to LiveAction,” said Dana Matsunaga, President and Chief Operating Officer, LiveAction. “Our goal is to simplify everything and we are branding our company and product as LiveAction which makes it easier for customers to find, try, and buy our software.”
LiveAction enables real-time provisioning of Cisco® devices and services plus control of telepresence meetings and visual monitoring of the enterprise network. With just a few clicks of the mouse, LiveAction helps ensure that the most important business applications are given higher priority. In addition, LiveAction provides historical visual recording of network traffic, similar to using a DVR to record your favorite television shows. This helps find, troubleshoot, and fix problems quickly.
“From crockpots to your car, everything is headed online,” said John K. Smith, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, LiveAction. “This puts tremendous pressure on the network and creates new problems for already overworked network administrators. With LiveAction See, Point, Click, Fix approach, we enable real-time visualization, decision-making and control in a simple to deploy, simple to use, software solution. LiveAction solves problems where they occur.”
