Gilbane Building Company announced the promotion of Columbus district operations manager, Brett Meyer, to district manager and vice president.
“Brett has proven his commitment to Gilbane and to our continued growth and success. He was the driving force behind numerous strategic accounts in the Columbus region and continues to promote the growth of our business unit and the team that he leads,” says Tom Laird, executive vice president at Gilbane.
Meyer, a 13-year Gilbane veteran, is known for his high standards of excellence in operations, perceptive attention to detail, and proven ability to build strong teams. With more than 21 years in the construction industry, his leadership covers a variety of market segments, including higher education, K-12, corporate, and laboratory building programs. Meyer is an inaugural class graduate of the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio’s Rising Leaders program and the Executive Leadership Institute. He also served on the board for the ACE Mentor Program of Columbus.
“Brett brings an intense focus on exceeding the expectations of our customers. This focus combined with Brett’s new position as district manager and vice president will ensure the growth and stability of our Central and Southern Ohio presence,” says Laird.
