The NSAA East & West Conferences provide some of the largest arenas to showcase and test products for ski resorts in the U.S. These are the perfect places for many North American resorts to evaluate if MountainOffice (Mountain Operations maintenance software) and ISS 24/7 (Incident Management System) technology truly could make their mountain operations more productive.

In the case of ski lift maintenance, vehicle fleet maintenance, snowmaking and building operations, productivity is measured by how ski resorts do their everyday work and manage their schedules. MountainOffice organizes all of these in an organized and simplified way. In the case of Ski Patrol and Risk Management, these departments measure their productivity by how they manage the skier experience in incidents and accidents, as calculated by ISS 24/7.

The mobility of both these systems was one of the components that really excited the users. Both systems provide the capability to have access to information all over the mountain through tablets or smartphones, allowing for increased productivity.

Steep Management's company focus is to utilize tools, whether they be teaching, training or means that enable people to be more productive by providing them information that is needed to make the decisions that build inclusion and a sense of purpose.

Steep Management, founded in 2009 concentrates its efforts solely in the ski resort and ski community arena with a focus on strategic implementation, leadership development and organizational performance improvement. The principal of Steep is Bob Ackland, a ski executive with over 40 years experience in the outdoor recreation industry; 20 of which in the ski resort management field.
