TrackingPoint, creator of the world's first Precision Guided Firearm, will be showcasing its new 750 Series Smart Rifle, with an MSRP of $9,995, at this year's Safari Club International Convention in Las Vegas. The event, called The Ultimate Hunters Marketplace, runs from February 5th to 8th at the Mandalay Bay Contention Center in Las Vegas, and the previous year's show captured 18,000 attendees. TrackingPoint is a sponsor of Safari Club International, and supports the wildlife conservation efforts of the organization.
TrackingPoint's new 750 Smart Rifle, on display at the show, provides 750 yard Tag Track Xact technology to the tech-savvy hunter, ensuring ethical shots on game at long distance. The rifle comes in a variety of popular calibers including 7mm, 300 Win Mag, and 308 Winchester. The precision rifle is fitted into a Bell & Carlson stock and features all of the key technological advancements of TrackingPoint's premier XS line, including a Networked Tracking Scope and a Guided Trigger.
TrackingPoint rifles are widely considered the most advanced rifles in the world, and are the premier long distance hunting rifles on the market today. The company recently released a video with several of its hunter employees discussing the benefits of the smart rifle, including more dynamic hunts, and a better mentoring experience for guides and new shooters. Streaming video technology is built in to the Networked Tracking Scope via a Wi-Fi server, allowing streaming of what the shooter sees in the smart rifles heads up display, to a tablet or smart phone. The new 750 rifles are available thru an application process on the TrackingPoint website, and the new 750 Series will start shipping in spring of 2014.
