Fashion College FIDM to Host Transfer Info Session in Los Angeles
(PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- On Tuesday, February 11, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising will host a Transfer Info Session, open to anyone who is considering transferring to the fashion college, located in Downtown Los Angeles’ bustling Fashion and Entertainment District. Interested students will learn all about the transfer process, financial aid information, and hear about FIDM’s Career Center resources.
Students are encouraged to bring their transcript to discuss course transferability. Attendees can explore FIDM’s Bachelor’s and Associate degree programs in 22 creative and business majors, take campus tours, and view student work. The event is perfect for students interested in transferring to FIDM in the future, college students who are planning to transfer soon, and college graduates looking for a way to get into the industry. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided and an RSVP is required.
Although FIDM’s programs are rigorous, the college is transfer-friendly: there are no minimum unit requirements, students may start their education any quarter, and merit- and need-based institutional scholarships are dedicated to transfer students. The college has transfer students from places such as Arizona State University, San Francisco State University, New York University, University of California, Riverside, Michigan State University, and many more.
