Village of Hope Uganda Announces Grand Opening of Bobi Village
Bobi, Uganda (PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- Village of Hope announces its second community village will open and provide a safe environment for ninety-six orphans to grow, learn, and thrive. Bobi Village serves as a means of bringing healing to the hundreds of orphans affected by the brutal attacks of Joseph Kony and his army.
“We are elated with excitement to announce the grand opening of Bobi Village, which will provide restoration for so many children who only dream of living in safety and peace,” says Cindy Cunningham, founder and director of Village of Hope Uganda. “I can not say thank you enough for the many people who have supported Bobi Village through either their faithful prayers or generous giving. Because of your efforts, Bobi Village has received the funds needed for full sustainability.”
The new village will include housing for ninety-six orphans, bathing areas & toilets, medical clinic, staff housing, education and counseling. Rose Abner, Village of Hope’s National Director, will serve as the overseer for Bobi and will be provided with permanent housing in the village. Move-in day for the children will begin on February 1, 2014, so the children can get acquainted with their new home before school opens on Monday, February 3, 2014.
“Without the support, help, prayers, and donations from people all across this country, 96 child orphans would still be living with no shoes, torn clothes and a bloated belly,” says Cindy Cunningham. “Your help has provided hope, and your generosity has built the walls of Bobi Village.”
