Vivantech Assists University of Maryland in Accomplishing Comprehensive Kuali Financial System Implementation

With the January 6 launch of KFS, UMD has enhanced its business process automation, reduced paper-based workflows, and improved its visibility and reporting capabilities.
Vivantech worked with UMD to deploy a highly integrated set of financial services modules, including general ledger, chart of accounts and financial processing, purchasing/accounts payable, capital assets management, labor distribution, electronic document workflow, and financial reporting. The KFS project with UMD is one of many Kuali implementations performed by Vivantech over the past six years.

The University of Maryland joins a growing number of colleges and universities that have selected open-source Kuali software for their ERP systems.
