Courses for a Cause Welcomes Special Operations Warrior Foundation as Official Partner
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- Courses for a Cause recently officially welcomed Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) as a partner and beneficiary. Proceeds from the auction of twelve donated foursomes at the Bayou Club in Largo, FL, will benefit SOWF.
Present to formalize the partnership were Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy (Ret) Joseph Maguire, President & CEO of Special Operations Warrior Foundation; Jeffrey Salka, President & Co-Founder of Courses for a Cause; Major, U.S. Air Force (Ret) Steven McLeary, Executive Director of Special Operations Warrior Foundation; and Mike Peterson, Executive Director & Co-Founder of Courses for a Cause.
Founded in 1980 to provide support and assistance to personnel serving in the U.S. Special Operations Command, Tampa-based SOWF offers three vital programs: college scholarships for the surviving children of fallen Special Operations Forces; family services, educational and family counseling, and advocacy support; and wounded Special Operations Forces support, including immediate financial stipends.
