SCA Promotions provided prize coverage for eight separate clients’ kickoff promotions for the Denver vs Seattle Big Game on February 2. The opening kickoff was returned, but was far from a touchdown, leaving the burden on Seattle to make the big play on the second half kickoff. The short kick was fielded at the 13 yard line, and was returned for a touchdown that never seemed in doubt, as the player was virtually untouched. Once he crossed the goal line, SCA Promotions began the process of paying out over $800,000. The promotions included conditional rebates and grand prize payouts. Each company that participated in the kickoff promotion prequalified contestants based on purchases or sign-ups.

Only ten players have returned a kick for a touchdown in the annual big game, and this weekend’s may be the most celebrated in St. James, MO history. Hutcheson Ford customers will receive the largest payout with its conditional rebate promotion valued at $300,700. Customers who made a purchase between January 29 and February 1, 2014 are now eligible for a full refund. Other participating sponsors included:

  •     Baillio’s Inc. (Albuquerque, NM) - $200,000
  •     Avi Casino (Laughlin, NV) - $50,000
  •     Moy Communications (Hagatna, Guam) - $50,500
  •     KSZR – FM / KIIM-FM (Tucson, AZ) - $10,200
  •     Rose Haven Civic Association (North Beach, MD) - $10,000
  •     Cartwheel Casino & Liquor Store (Great Falls, MT) - $2,500
