Spectra QEST Appoints Vice President for North America
(PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- The expansion of Spectra QEST's US-subsidiary will facilitate the boundless growth potential that the US market provides as well as enable the company to better serve its substantial existing US-based clientele.
Dan Ridolfi is a Masters qualified Registered Professional Engineer with nearly twenty years’ experience working for leading US research and engineering firms. He has had a distinguished engineering career and brings with him much valuable experience and industry knowledge.
Dan comes to Spectra QEST from Granite, where he spent the past nine years. As the California Quality Manager, he was responsible for the quality of material production and constructions operations over thirteen asphalt plants, twenty aggregate plants and seven paving operations. This work represented approximately $750M per annum in revenue and the quality group employed around fifty technical people.
Dan has a long-standing relationship with Spectra QEST. Eleven years ago he became the first customer to implement QESTLab (Spectra QEST’s industry leading Laboratory Information Management System) in North America when he was the Materials Manager in Kleinfelder’s Las Vegas Office. After his time with Kleinfelder, Dan opened an engineering laboratory business in Las Vegas for Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI). Dan again implemented QESTLab in PSI’s new Las Vegas office. During this process he built the entire laboratory workflow around the QESTLab system. This implementation was so successful that PSI progressively adopted all QEST technologies nationally over the course of the next decade.
With the focus of Spectra QEST’s software being on the management of construction-related quality control data, it is important to note that Dan was the Quality Control Manager for numerous highway, airfield, public works and vertical construction projects during his time with Granite and Kleinfelder.
Spectra QEST Director, Finance and Infrastructure, Michael Sautner said, “The Spectra QEST Board of Directors is thrilled to have secured the services of such a highly qualified, experienced and sought after engineer to lead this next phase in the expansion of our company. We are excited about the benefits that our US customers will enjoy through having access to a dedicated and highly skilled local team of engineers.”
