The San Diego Employment Law Attorneys at Blumenthal Nordrehaug & Bhowmik File a Lawsuit Against GreenworksUS For Alleged Failure to Pay all Wages Due to Employees
San Diego, California (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 -- On January 9, 2014 the San Diego labor law lawyers at Blumenthal Nordrehaug & Bhowmik filed a class action lawsuit against the company that markets and installs Safeguard walk-in tubs for allegedly failing to properly pay their sales representatives. The case is entitled Trigueros vs. GreenworksUS, Case No. 37-2014-00082787-CU-OE-CTL and is currently pending in the San Diego County Superior Court for the State of California.
According to the class action complaint, GreenworksUS allegedly failed to pay their employees who were required to attend GreenworksUS' mandatory training seminar at the onset of their employment.
The Complaint further states that the sales representatives were compensated solely by commission wages stemming from sales made on behalf of GreenworksUS and as a result the sales representatives would drive all over the state of California to market the walk-in tubs. The lawsuit claims that GreenworksUS failed to reimburse the sales representatives for any of their car-related expenses, including gas money. Under California Labor Code Section 2802, employers are required to pay employees for all expenses incurred in the course and scope of their employment, including vehicle related expenses.
