MMJ America, a Colorado Marijuana Dispensary, Launches The Vault Genetics Company
Denver, CO (PRWEB) February 06, 2014 -- MMJ America is proud to announce their latest venture in the booming Colorado marijuana industry, The Vault Genetics. The dispensary group has partnered with Swerve, one of the premier marijuana geneticists in the nation, to breed exclusive strains that will compete with the world’s best at the upcoming 2014 Cannabis Cup.
“The Vault Genetics was the next logical step for us to take to remain an innovator in the marijuana industry,” said MMJ America President and CEO, Jake Salazar. “We are producing the most potent and cutting edge cannabis strains in the world at our company's headquarters in Colorado, A.K.A. ground zero of the marijuana revolution.”
MMJ America chose to prefect their growing techniques before getting into the genetics business. After working overtime for three years, MMJ America won 2nd place in the Indica category of the 2013 Cannabis Cup for the strain Larry OG. Out of respect for the geneticist responsible for the strain, MMJ America reached out to Swerve who gained world-wide recognition for his work with The Cali Connection. Because of MMJ America’s unique focus on growing, Swerve decided to become a partner in creating The Vault Genetics.

The Vault Genetics is the first marijuana genetics company that is fully American owned. While other companies chose to take on European partners with Amsterdam connections, MMJ America chose to take a risk and develop unique strains at their home in Colorado. The exclusive strains currently in development by The Vault Genetics will be entered into the 2014 Cannabis Cup, which will be held the weekend of April 20th, 2014 in Denver. MMJ America hopes to continue their winning streak while the eyes of the world are on Colorado, which made history as the first place to legalize recreational adult use of marijuana.
