Toledo, OH (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 -- The Court appointed leadership in the Biomet MDL (Docket: 3:12-md-2391) pending before Judge Robert L. Miller in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, South Bend Division, announced a proposed $200,000 settlement to claimants who suffered a Biomet metal-on-metal related failure of their Biomet M2a 38 or M2a Magnum. The settlement pertains to claimants that required or will require a revision surgery.
"How do I participate in the Biomet settlement?"
In order to be eligible for the settlement, you must have a case filed on or before April 15, 2014. There are additional requirements related to the completion and submission of Plaintiff Fact Sheets which will impact inclusion in the settlement as well as timing of payment.
Funding will be dispersed when 90% of plaintiffs have accepted the terms to the settlement.
