Carolina Equine Hospital Announces Opening of New Leading Edge Large Animal Veterinary Facility in Browns Summit, N.C.
Browns Summit, N.C. (PRWEB) February 06, 2014 -- Carolina Equine Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Browns Summit, N.C.
The 8,000-square-foot veterinary hospital is home to a variety of amenities and enhancements, including four intensive care stalls, a quarantine stall, a surgical suite for equine surgeries and four additional outpatient stalls. The hospital also has two large climate-controlled examination rooms.
“The opening of this new facility has always been a goal for our team,” says James Talbot, veterinarian and co-owner of Carolina Equine Hospital. “We’re excited to have the ability to undertake more advanced diagnostics and perform a wider variety of treatments – something that just wasn’t possible at our old location.”
Carolina Equine Hospital sits on 12 acres just off US 29, providing easy horse trailer access for incoming and outgoing patients and owners.
The five full-time veterinarians at Carolina Equine Hospital also provide 24/7 ambulatory (farm-to-farm) care to patients.
“While we enjoy making house calls, we will now have the ability to offer the next level of care – without the need to make a referral to a larger veterinary hospital several hours away,” says Talbot.
Carolina Equine Hospital will be hosting a grand opening and open house event on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
“We are excited to share what our new facility has to offer! We will be hosting several demonstrations and our staff will be there to answer any questions or provide tours,” says Talbot.
Additionally, the open house event will feature several representatives from leading veterinary pharmaceutical companies, offering demonstrations and samples of cutting-edge medical products and devices. Children are also invited to participate in stuffed animal “surgery” taking place in Carolina Equine Hospital’s new surgical suite.
