Each month, TEMIA features case studies that highlight best practices and address solutions to enterprises' real-world problems.

Avotus Corporation, a leading provider of Intelligent Communications Management (ICM) solutions, is featured in a case study from The Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) in which a customer’s communication network savings increased by 37 percent. TEMIA represents leading solutions providers in Telecommunications Management, Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Wireless Expense Management (WEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Managed Mobility Services (MMS), Mobile Application Management (MAM), Mobile Security, service management; help desk support and related areas.

The case study highlights results delivered by the Avotus ICM Intelli-Sourcing platform for a leading California-based engineering firm. The client profiled in the case study chose Avotus to develop and conduct an electronic RFP, via its award-winning Intelli-Sourcing platform, for the procurement of its wireless voice and data services.

“The success of this partnership conveys exactly the kind of important information that TEMIA works to promote to the industry,” explains TEMIA Managing Director Joe Basili. “Each month TEMIA features case studies that highlight best practices and address solutions to enterprises' real-world problems.” The work Avotus did with this client offers a look at the way network savings and quality of service can drastically improve, enabling a company to optimize on its technology investments.

The customer needed a compelling solution, which would enhance leverage and create a dynamic bidding environment. Additionally, the client required that the solution also help negotiate the contractual terms and service level agreement in real time. Avotus’ Intelli-Sourcing platform had the capabilities for simultaneously evaluating both price and quality terms.

“Prior to the WebAuction, the customer expressed to us its desire to significantly reduce its current spend and improve its contractual terms with its carriers,” states Avotus Vice President, Head - Global Delivery, James Martino. “Avotus delivered 37% savings, improved service-level agreements, and executed the project in 25% less time than a traditional RFP.”
