viastore systems Adds Sales and Engineering Staff to Increase North American Market Footprint
Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 -- viastore systems announced that Brian Rix and Jim Herrmann have joined the company’s North American operations.
Rix will be responsible for market development of both integrated and conveyor systems throughout North America, bringing over 25 years’ experience in integrated supply chain solutions. Rix has held systems sales and business development positions at companies including Intelligrated and Dematic.
“Adding Brian to our sales group gives us increased knowledge and experience in growing our position in North America for automated material handling solutions,” said Bill Ostermeyer, vice president of sales for viastore. “His understanding of order fulfillment solutions coupled with the equipment side of automation will add to the value proposition we bring to our customers.”
Herrmann will be responsible for engineering conveyor systems that best fit the market demands to further strengthen viastore’s commitment for providing world class material handling solutions. Herrmann has over 35 years’ experience in automated material handling solutions, having held project engineer and project manager positions at several material handling automation companies.
