At this point in his career, Taylor has released 16 studio albums, many of which have been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling at least one million copies. Among those records that have sold more than a million copies include "Sweet Baby James," "Mud Slide and the Blue Horizon," "JT, Flag," "Dad Loves His Work," "That’s Why I’m Here," "Never Die Young," "New Moon Shine," "Hourglass" and "October Road." His most recent release, "Covers," came out in 2008 and peaked at the No. 4 spot on the American albums chart.
Taylor was a 2000 inductee to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has won five Grammy Awards in his career including "Best Pop Vocal Performance" twice, "Best Pop Album," "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance," and "Best Country Collaboration with Vocals," for his single with Alison Krauss, "How’s the World Treating You."
The summer tour will kick off a the Moda Center in Portland, OR, and will also visit some of the most popular venues in music including the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ. and PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, NC in the States, and The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, LG Arena in Birmingham, UK and Brighton Centre in Brighton, UK.
