Fast-growing consumer genetics company DNAFit, creators of the world’s first combined diet and fitness programmes based on a person’s genes, continues to sign up leading academics to its Scientific Advisory Board as it prepares its global growth strategy.
The latest high-profile appointment is Dr. Afif Abdel Nour, an accomplished academic in the field of nutrigenetics. He joins nutrigeneticist Dr. Keith Grimaldi and molecular genetics expert Dr. Andrei Semikhodkii.
This addition to the Board comes as the British-based genetics company prepares to roll out DNAFit internationally, with a particular focus on the Middle East.
It will also release enhanced reports which as well as revealing the ideal fitness and diet programmes will now highlight intolerances to gluten and dairy.
DNAFit offers two tests and programmes to help people improve their fitness and lose weight. They are DNAFit Fitness and DNAFit Diet. The tests scan up to 30 genes linked to a body’s ability to process food and improve sporting performance
