Versify Solutions today announced that Linda Richardson, one of the power industry’s top software sales executives, has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. In her new role, Richardson is responsible for building a national sales and account management team and crafting a strategy to capitalize on the growing customer demand and momentum for Versify’s utility software solutions for generation and trading optimization and compliance management.

Richardson has spent the last 18 years establishing a successful track record selling software solutions to major power companies. Most recently she served as Vice President for Sales and Account Management at Aclara, where she led a national sales team that consistently achieved aggressive revenue goals. Prior to Aclara, when Richardson was Vice President of Major Accounts at Insights Unlimited, she built the company’s power-industry sales initiative from the ground up to 35 major clients.

Earlier in her career, Richardson had front-line management experience with two major utility companies – Pepco Holdings and Duquesne Light Company. She has a Master of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University – Tepper School of Business.
