A court order issued on March 20, indicates that a settlement has been reached in a Wright Profemur hip lawsuit (case no. 4:2011cv03086, California Northern District Court) alleging that the implant failed. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that he was implanted with the Wright Profemur Hip in 2006, and in 2010 the implant fractured leading to revision surgery.
