After more than 20 years in operation, the company decided the best strategy for future growth is to move forward with franchising. Hotshots’ strategic franchising plan will bring the brand into high-profile markets, which include award-winning development deals with single, multi-unit and multi-brand restaurant ownership groups eager to enhance their portfolios with a concept that is ready for growth.
The brand has built a loyal following throughout its 23-year history, which makes it attractive on several levels to established restaurant operators, upper-level retail management, and area managers. The average Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) for the brand is 16%, which is well above the national average. Owner and CEO, Dan Volmert, says the key component that leads to higher-than-average profits is the opening cost range of $367,000-$755,000.
