New Accountant Magazine Showcases Enhanced Online Content in First Edition of 2014

New Accountant magazine, a professional journal for college accounting students, is now available by print and online at with publication of its first issue in 2014.

New Accountant Magazine, published since 1985, is a pro-CPA & pro-accounting professional journal available in print and online, delivering up to date information directly into the hands of U.S. and International college accounting students and high school students considering a career in accounting.

Our goal is to recruit students into the college accounting curricula at both the high school & college levels, prepare college accounting students and recent graduates to sit for the CPA exam and introduce the many diverse career and professional designation opportunities available.

The current issue of the Chicago-based publication features a cover story on the benefits of membership and active involvement in professional organizations, as well as an article on "11 Rules for Living" and a primer for retirement planning. The magazine's enhanced online edition now includes 17 interactive advertising and editorial links.

Polydoris added his number one priority in 2014 is to create content that is both informative and stimulating for students preparing to work in an industry that is essential to the future success of the global economy.

Some of the new editorial features planned for 2014 include the addition of a publisher's column, contributed articles from students and longtime industry professionals, the latest industry trends and predictions, profiles of 20 top accounting students, and a comprehensive ranking of accounting programs this fall.

The magazine also announced two appointments to the editorial board. John Karayn, JD Phd, Professor of Business University and Bill Powell, Lt. Colonel U.S. Army, USAR (Retired) are joining the 16-person board.
