Home Sale Prices Up 30 Percent Over January 2013

New home sales in Heritage, the award-winning master-planned community in Wake Forest and Rolesville, NC, started 2014 off on a high note. Sale prices for the month closed 30 percent above January 2013 with an 11 percent increase in price per square foot over this time last year. Plus, the community saw a chart-topping 101 percent sale price to list price ratio.

“This is the January we were hoping to see,” says Andy Ammons, president of Ammons Development Group, Heritage developer. “Our sales team topped projections and prices are increasing as we expected. We believe this is a start to a strong year in new home sales, not only for Heritage, but for the region as well.”

Part of the success at Heritage is due to a constantly rotating inventory of available homes and home sites in various stages of construction. The community currently has an average of 80 available homes and home sites. Heritage new homes are also available in a range of prices and styles – from single family to townhomes and condos.
