Garden City Realty of Garden City Beach, SC Announces Its 2013 Agents of the Year
Garden City Beach, SC (PRWEB) February 14, 2014 -- Lee Hewitt, Broker-In-Charge of Garden City Realty, Inc., is pleased to recognize the firm’s Top Agents of 2013. Denise Coleman was recognized as the Top Producer of the Year, as well as Listing and Selling Agent of the Year. Darryl Rogers was recognized for Top Listing Transactions and Top Total Transactions, and Bobby Streett received the award for Top Selling Transactions.
Coleman has been a Broker Associate with Garden City Realty since 1999 and specializes in the coastal resort areas of the south strand. She consistently ranks in the top 10 percent of all REALTORS in the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS (CCAR). She holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation - a credential that fewer than 4 percent of REALTORS® nationwide have earned. Additionally, Coleman is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), holds the Resort and Residential (RRS) designation, and has training specific to 1031 tax exchanges.
Coleman has resided in the Murrells Inlet area since 1984. She obtained her real estate license in 1990 and began participating in local, state, and national REALTOR organizations. To enhance her knowledge of community and real estate related issues, and to assist her fellow REALTORS, she continuously serves on local and state committees.
She presently serves on the Garden City Beach Community Association board, the St. James High School board in Murrells Inlet, the Carolina Coast Cotillion board, and the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS Grievance committee. Rogers has been with Garden City Realty since April 2009. He has been a member of the National Association of REALTORS and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS for thirteen years and a member of the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS since 2003. He is experienced in residential and resort sales along with new construction and presently holds a South Carolina residential home builders license.
Rogers, who was born in Myrtle Beach, has lifelong roots on the Grand Strand. He grew up in Dillon, South Carolina, but spent many summers with his family at their beach house in Garden City Beach.
At present Rogers is a trustee at Garden City Chapel, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board Member and Sunday school teacher. He is involved in mission work in eastern Kentucky where he travels with church members several time a year to organize vacation bible school, host an annual fall festival and work on projects throughout neighboring communities. Streett, Your Coastal Carolina Connection, has been a Broker Associate with Garden City Realty since 2004 and has been selling real estate for more than 40 years. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS, and the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS. In addition, he is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), holds the Recreation and Resort Specialist (RRS) designation, and is a certified insurance counselor. He has also completed the coursework for the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations. Streett frequently receives the Listing and Selling Agent award and is the 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Selling Agent of the Year. Streett takes pleasure in assisting clients find the home, condominium or investment property of their dreams.
Streett graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 1973 with additional studies at the University of London, England. He was first licensed by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission in 1975. Streett served as broker-in-charge and property manager-in-charge for various firms between 1975 and 2004 and was active in the insurance, construction and development industries.
Streett has held numerous positions with the South Carolina Association of REALTORS as well as local and regional real estate associations. He has been involved with several community organizations including the chamber of commerce. Streett served as president and chairman of the board for the Mid-Day Sertoma Club, is a former director of the Jaycees and member of the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club. He has also been an American Red Cross water safety instructor and coached youth baseball.
