Bronto Software Expands Operations with Australian Office
Sydney, Australia and Durham, North Carolina (PRWEB) February 10, 2014 -- Bronto Software, the leading marketing platform for commerce, announced today that it is expanding global operations with the opening of offices in Sydney, Australia. The Bronto Sydney office, which is the latest expansion for the cloud marketing company, includes sales and support professionals.
Bronto’s investment in Australia comes as the nation’s e-commerce market growth accelerates. eMarketer reports B2C e-commerce sales in Australia are increasing steadily, and estimates such sales will exceed $32 billion by the end of 2017. Given Bronto’s focus on addressing the needs of this growing market, it made sense to establish a physical presence in Australia.

Another factor in Bronto’s selection of Sydney for its latest global expansion is the strong presence in Australia of the company’s key commerce partners, including Magento, Demandware and NetSuite.

Bronto’s revenue increased over 25% in 2013 and the company boosted headcount significantly, ending the year with 176 employees. The company plans to increase its global headcount to well over 200 in 2014. The opening of the Australian office comes less than two years after Bronto’s previous global expansion, the opening of offices in London.
In addition to opening the Sydney office, Bronto is exhibiting at Insite Melbourne 2014, the eCommerce Conference & Expo in Melbourne and the Online Retailer Conference & eCommerce Expo in Sydney.
