Steel Pony Donates Portion of Sales to The Morris Animal Foundation
(PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Leading sustainable clothing brand, Steel Pony, is proud to announce they are donating a portion of sales to The Morris Animal Foundation during the February and March months.
“I have a soft spot for animals and those that do what they can to support them,” says Steel Pony founder and designer Joanne Litz. “We believe we are our own village at Steel Pony and through this unique partnership, we know we can make a real change as a group.”
The Morris Animal Foundation is a non-profit organization that invests in science that advances veterinary care for companion animals, horses and wildlife. For every $250 that a customer spends, Steel Pony will donate $25 to the non-profit. Steel Pony is asking customers to donate in honor of a loved one or animal. The Steel Pony team will share images of you or the one you are honoring on the Steel Pony Facebook page.
To jump start this inaugural project, Steel Pony is currently offering a limited-edition t-shirt and 10 percent of sales will benefit the Morris Animal Foundation.
Shoppers can peruse a variety of Steel Pony silhouettes and luxe fabrics including tops, bottoms, hand painted items, bags, and accessories. Customers may shop the Steel Pony collection while donating to a good cause at http://www.steelpony.com.
“Our plan is donate to non-profits that we feel are doing really good things,” says Litz. “Every other month we will promote a different organization.”
