Registration for the 2014 event is now open. Early registration is just $40 - children under 12 ride free. Early registration will run until April 30, 2014. In just five years, Bike Michiana for Hospice has earned a reputation as "the Midwest's premier ride." Known not only for amazing SAG (support and guidance) stops with food from some of the area's finest restaurants, but also six fantastic routes, from 3.5 miles to 125 miles, winding through the scenic beauty of South Bend - home to the University of Notre Dame - and the surrounding Michiana area. The various routes take riders by forests, gently rolling hills, lakes, vineyards and wineries.

Bike Michiana for Hospice registration fees benefit two well-respected, local non-profit organizations, Center for Hospice Care (CHC) and the Bike Michiana Coalition (BMC). For over 30 years CHC has been focused on their mission to improve the quality of living. CHC has promised from the beginning that nobody eligible for hospice care will be turned away, regardless of their ability to pay. BMC seeks a more bicycle-friendly community by: encouraging bicycling for commuting and recreation; expanding and improving bicycle infrastructure; and educating citizens and government about bicycle safety, laws and the community benefits of cycling.

Riders also have the option of doing personal fundraising for the ride. They can set up a personal fundraising page online when registering, or collect donations from friends and family offline as well. All proceeds of fundraising benefits CHC. Visit to learn more or register.
